Show your Love with these Seven Quick and Easy Valentine’s Dog Treats Recipes
Welcome, to the second blog in our Valentine’s Day series. We are so pleased you’ve stopped by.
This week we are going to help you show your little brown dogs the love by creating your very own dog treats, just for them. We know how difficult it can be to find healthy, grain and gluten free treat recipes to make, so we’ve done all the work for you and curated seven pawsome, easy recipes that will have those little bears drooling for more.

But first, if you caught up with our first blog post, you’ll know all about how much we love Border Terriers. In fact, we love them so much we decided to celebrate that love with a Valentine’s giveaway.
We’ve teamed up with the brilliant people at Feelwells who have kindly donated a generous £60 worth of vouchers – 3 x £20 – so that you can show your little brown dogs how much you love them.
You have three chances to bag yourself a voucher worth £20 which you can exchange for delicious treats or tremendous toys from the Feelwells website. You can find out how to enter at the end of this post.

In the meantime, let’s get you started with your recipes.
Frozen Strawberry and Banana Hearts with Yoghurt
We adore these cute little dog treats. And being frozen, they are super easy to make as there’s no baking required. And there are no grains, seeds, or gluten.
Cran-Pumpkin, Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Treats
These delicious heart shaped morsels are gluten free and simple to make. We suggest, that if you do decide to sweeten them, and we’re not sure you need to, that you swap the sugar out for honey.
Another delicious gluten free frozen recipe for you both to share. To make it grain free, simply leave out the toasted oats.
There’s just one ingredient in this yummy recipe which we think is absolutely pawfect as an accompaniment to any of these recipes. All you need is some ripe bananas, a freezer, and a blender and you’re away!
Banana and Cranberry Frosted Hearts
For an impressive fine dining experience, give these gluten free love hearts a try. They look super re-fined, yet with only a handful of ingredients, they’re super easy too.
Try these, high fibre, low fat hearts which are fabulous for sensitive tummies. Leave out the oats to go totally grain free. And to simplify, just frost with low fat Philadelphia.
Gluten Free Valentine Cookies with Beets
These mouth-watering, gluten free little delicacies made with beets, are super healthy too. What’s not to love?
